Everyday he's getting better and better at walking. He's gone from only walking around the couch to cruising up and down the hallway and all over the kitchen. Now he goes everywhere! It's really exciting to watch him grow more and more!

A lot of people have been telling me to "look out" and "oh no life will never be the same!" True, walking does add to the toddler destruction, but I'm actually really excited that he's becoming more independent. I'm really looking forward to age 1! Things are a lot more fun when Jude is aware of them and actually starting to enjoy them.
And I know this is sappy, but honestly, watching Jude take his first steps has been one of the highlights of being a parent, probably even my life. Seeing his eyes light up with excitement, his little unbalanced body teeter back and forth, and then take several steps in place before he can take one forward... it's absolutely priceless. Listening to him laugh with delight as he falls into my arms after taking a few steps has been pure joy. Some days being a mom is really hard, but times like this make it all worth it
I agree with all you say! Being a mom is the best! Thanks for capturing all these moments and sharing them. It makes me so happy to see him!
