Judey Jude is a big kid now! My oldest is 5 years old and off to school for the first time. For Jude's birthday this year we drove down to Thousand Oaks to celebrate with his all-time favorite people, Grandma and Grandpa. Not the most excited birthday but he loved it!
Early morning presents
Too excited to wait for Lucy to finish her bottle.
Jude really really couldn't wait to go to school on his birthday! He got a birthday crown and handed out treats to his friends.
Road tripping to SoCal! These kids were seriously so good. We completely forgot the ipads but they just entertained themselves for 6 hours.
Here's a bit about Jude at 5:
-He goes to TK and absolutely loves it! Mom loves it too haha. He knows everything about everyone at school and gives me all the details, including the stories about Mrs. Cassotti's dog. Jude is clearly my child; he's a complete rule follower. At parent teacher conference, his teacher told me that he's all about following instructions and says the hardest part of TK is when his friends won't listen.
-Jude loves baseball and soccer. He's not particularly talented at either but who cares.
-He gets bored SO easily. I honestly wish school were all day because he would love that!
-Jude is sweet and tries to help his younger sisters. He frequently blocks Lucy from climbing up the stairs and tries to pick her up when she's in "danger."
-Jude melts down at the drop of a hat. It's a little insane sometimes. When he's watching tv if the next show starts to pop-up and he doesn't want to watch it... you'd think someone was literally torturing him.
-He finally has a good appetite. We discovered he loves seafood but still refuses to touch mashed potatoes.
-Jude remembers everything about everything. He uses his memory to rebuild Disneyland in his room or all the stations on the way to Santa Barbara.
-We are still all about transportation: trains, airplanes, buses...
-We love Jude! He's difficult and disobedient at times but overall he tries hard and he's so sweet.
