San Diego

So I've fallen a little behind in my blogging, thanks to a dying computer holding all our pictures hostage. 

I've also reached the "I need a vacation from this vacation" zone, where I'm so tired of everyone being off schedule that I'm just exhausted about everything.

Basically, the next couple of posts will be quick!

The weekend before Christmas, Peter and I finally got our romantic, treat yo self weekend away! We dropped the kids off at Grandma's and traveled down to San Diego for a very belated anniversary getaway. 

We stayed in a fancy hotel, ate way too much food, and checked out Old Town. We even got a couples massage, which it turns out, are horrifying. For me at least. I was like Ben Wyatt on treat yo self day; how on earth am I supposed to relax when a total stranger is very painfully touching my not-so-clothed body?! But watching people dressed in 19th century clothing and eating street tacos definitely made up for it! Also, if you're ever in San Diego, be sure to check out the Mormon Battalion Historical Site. It's really neat and interactive, and not at all preachy.
