Her hair is actually rather fine right now, but it's long. It's pretty unmanageable most of the time, and I wouldn't really care except that it gets all in her face. And it doesn't help at all that she loves to rub fistfuls of food into her hair at mealtime or press her plate into her face when she's done.
She has these little tufts that flip out over her ears. And this long hair in the back that's kind of turning into a baby mullet. And some long bangs that fall into her eyes.
And just some constant crazy.
So last week I took Jude in for a haircut at this new place that I love. The hair stylist very kindly asked if I would like her to cut Ellie's hair so it wouldn't grow into a mullet. Since I actually trust this lady to do a good job (she managed to actually give Jude's weird Hamilton hair a nice cut), I decided to give Eleanor her first haircut.
Some proof that Jude looked pretty good, too!
At first, she loved it. We gave her a lollipop (her first, I believe, too) and some toys and she was pretty happy. After a few minutes, however, poor Ellie lost it and started to scream and cry, like would be expected. Thankfully, we were able to keep her calm enough to finish up. The hair stylist says now her hair should grow out into a bob-cut, instead of a baby mullet. Hopefully that's true; I'm not a big fan of the mullet look, haha. She also showed me how to put her hair into a little pony tail that will actually stay put.

Fun to see these great haircuts! Love Jude's new look.
