Keeping Up with Jude

Sorry for the lack of posts (for those who actually want to read this...)!

We've been busy getting into the Christmas spirit here at our home! I've put up lots of lights, decorations, and a tree. Jude LOVES Christmas decorations. Whenever we go to the store he likes to go down the Christmas aisles and see all the lights. He's obsessed with the tree and the lights. Our tree is baby-gated to keep him out...

Peter's new favorite thing about Jude is his eating habits. Jude will put a piece of food in his mouth, suck out all the flavor, then pull it back out and drop it over the edge of the highchair. It's ridiculous, but Peter finds it hilarious. 

Jude has been doing some funny things lately. His second word is "outsi" (outside). He'll grab his jacket or his shoes, hand them to me and say "outsi!" He really loves going outside, I guess. 

He likes to carry things now. He tries to pick up as many objects as possible at once and carry them around. Sometimes he puts things into his pumpkin bucket and carries it around.

Unfortunately, he discovered that you can EAT the candy cane and he later turned into a giant sticky mess... along with me and everything in the living room.

We're looking forward to an awesome Christmas season and lots of new Jude firsts! It's absolutely amazing to see Jude experience his first Christmas. Being a parent really is the best job ever.
