Lucy loves toys now! She actually tries to grab them and play, which in baby means put it in her mouth. She wants to put everything in her mouth, but thankfully her grabbing skills aren't super great yet, so we've managed to keep most small things away from her.

Lucy rolls and scoots across the floor. She can actually move pretty far just by rolling! No sitting up yet though.
She can grab her binkie and usually put it in her mouth, but she's easily frustrated if she can't get it to work right.
Lucy is a mom only baby! If Peter holds her and I'm nearby, she'll scream like crazy until I come "rescue her." If she's sitting contentedly with Peter and I start speaking, she immediately breaks down into tears. Poor dad...
Lucy has recently perfected her Wookie call. It's her go to noise for when she's angry in her car seat.
We've discovered our toes; always one of my favorite baby stages!
Lucy eats like crazy and I've given up any hope of keeping my own milk supply up to meet the demand. My goal was to make it to 6 months and I did! I may be only nursing 1-2 times a day at this point, but is something. But now that I reached my goal, I'm totally done. Nursing and then supplementing with 7oz of formula is a waste of time and energy for me at this point. Plus, let's be honest, I'm way more than ready to have my body back!

Like Jude, Lucy does not like to be left alone for very long. After a few minutes on the ground she'll squawk until I pick her up, and she usually doesn't want anything other than for me to walk her around to see things. Jude did this a ton and it drove me crazy. I usually can get about 10 minutes of something done before the shrieking starts, which means I leave about a dozen projects half done all over the house all day long and nothing ever gets cleaned.
But Lucy is still the smiley, adorable little girl she's always been. I'm grateful she's a happy and healthy baby who just loves everything!

Love all of Lucy's faces here. You are a great photographer!
