Peter's company, Brightroll, which does smart online video advertising, was bought by Yahoo this past week. I was a little nervous at first, but thankfully, he was quickly offered a position at Yahoo. Peter's excited about it and what it'll mean for his career and our family.
We came out to Silicon Valley to work for a super tiny, classic start-up, then Peter moved to a mid-size, actually profitable start-up, and now his company's been acquired and he works for a major tech company. Pretty typical in his line of work, but still interesting to think about it all. It's kind of weird to say he works for Yahoo; it's something I would never have guessed would happen.
Anyways, we're grateful to still be employed, to have a stable job for the next few years, and enjoy the great perks of working for a big company. I'm proud of you, Peter, and all you do to support our family!
