Our little entryway & staircase
Also, here's the other side of our living room that I didn't post last time.
It's got a utility closet and the closet under the stairs is our laundry. Having my own washer machine is like heaven on earth! You can also see how it connects back up to the kitchen. The kids love running in big circles around the downstairs.
And right behind that is the half bath and garage entry. I love, love, love being able to come into my house through the garage! AND not end up in the kitchen or middle of some living space, so a second little entry. Seriously, perfect.
Now back up the stairs.
With all it's many blank, ugly walls. That are all the same color. While I'm very grateful the previous owners chose a simple, neutral color to repaint the house, the brown EVERYWHERE is starting to get to me. I'm getting very excited to do some painting, hopefully at the beginning of next year.
Our little landing/hallway
The master bedroom. I love how big this room is!
It's also serving as my craft room for the time being, but most likely will always stay that way. Not much other space left, especially as more kids come into the picture. I'm working on being fully okay with that. Also, not pictured is the wall still full of random stuff that has no home and supplies for projects that have yet to materialize.
But, we have a walk in closet! Although I want to know who thought it was a good idea to make a small closet with a door that opens into it... it's hard to actually get clothes in and out.
And our own bathroom!
Down the hall is another bathroom for the kids. It's super amazing to not have to bathe around kids' toys!
The back room is an office/guest room. Note the wonderful blow-up bed. And more blank walls. This will one day be a kids' room as our family grows, so I kinda don't want to invest too much in it since it'll change a lot. The fun part will be figuring out where to put the office stuff once it's a kid's room. But that's a problem for future Linda...
And the last room is the kid's room. Our rooms are pretty tiny, so I'm really glad we have a bunk bed!
Once Ellie outgrows the crib this room will have a lot more space. More and more toys keep finding their way downstairs and I'm looking forward to reclaiming the living room, once I figure out where's the best place to put them all.
It's not perfect. It's not at all spacious or pinterest-worthy. But it's ours and I love every inch of it! It's got lots of potential and I see it really becoming our wonderful home in the coming years.
Ellie loves mom's sink where she can try on headbands and play with makeup brushes.
And the kids really love the little hallway! Many hours are spent running back and forth.

such a wonderful, beautiful home!
