My 1st Birthday

It started by being awoken much too early by my brother. When we came downstairs I discovered that balloons had magically grown out of the carpet overnight. They were fun, but brother Jude seemed to like them more. I just kinda sat by them, unsure.

There were also balloons and signs and paper everywhere while I ate breakfast and watched Thomas the Train.

Then I discovered my presents! A new chair for me to sit in! 

And a super soft teddy bear that smells like bad vanilla. But I loved it anyways!

I had to make sure she checked out my new chair too.

Later that evening, Mom tempted us by putting out cakes! I recognized them immediately and was very upset no one gave me any!

During dinner, Jude entertained us.

Then Mom forced me into this poofy birthday outfit...

And made me smile for Dad's camera. I do think I'm pretty cute, though.

Then, they handed me this strange object.

And with the help of Mom, I discovered necklaces inside! I tried my best to put them back in the paper, but that didn't seem to work.

Brother Jude felt the need to help me with my next present.

And it was a new dolly! I especially loved taking her hat on and off.

Then I got stripped down and placed in front of the giant cake. Everyone sang, including Jude, and made a big fuss about blowing air all over me.

At last, I got to eat it! I started slowly at first...

...But then I really got into it.

Meanwhile, Jude enjoyed a chocolate cupcake.

I think it was a pretty awesome day!
