First Words

I haven't written in awhile and I know I have a lot of things to catch up on... but here's just a quick update about Jude. Jude said his first word! As in, his first word in which he actually shows comprehension of what it means. It's FISH! Last week we were visiting my parents in Thousand Oaks (update on that later), and they have a fish tank that Jude loves to see. We taught him awhile ago how to make the "fishy sound" (opening and closing your mouth like a fish). By the end of our visit to TO, every time Jude walked by the tank he would say "fshhhhh" and make the fish sound. Even now that we're home he's still doing it. Super cute! I think he may also say "yes" and "what's that?" but I'm not a 100% convinced. For now, just "fshhhhh." Kids are funny!
