Lucy: 4 months

And just like that, she hits 4 months.

Lucy loves to smile, laugh, and eat. She eats every 2 hours or less; we're actually starting to give her formula since I'm definitely not producing enough on my own. She's still my tiniest baby, barely weighing 12 lbs.

Lucy loves to smile at people around her. She especially adores her siblings, who manage to get the biggest smiles out of her.

Lucy is the quite the trooper for all the dragging around that she has to endure as the 3rd child. At Disneyland last week, she spent 90% of the time in the ergo carrier, which she's not super fond of, but she did it pretty happily. Definitely still a calm baby!

Lucy also wins for most visits to the doctor; I think we averaged once a week in January. Thankfully, she's overall a healthy little girl.

Lucy still sleeps all through the night, which is amazing, but she wakes up starving. Some mornings she throws up from eating too much, too fast, but she never seems to be upset about it. Sleep training is on the agenda for this month.

She rolled over once, from her stomach to her back, but it was basically all momentum, so I'm not really counting it yet. I also realized this month that I pretty much never put her on her tummy, so we're trying to do that more and hopefully she'll get to rolling soon.

Lucy is, as Jude says whenever he sees her, "the cutest girl of all!"

  1. I've seen these post several times but noticed I hadn't commented on them. I love them and always love to go back and read them again. Your kids are so blessed to have all these memories in these blogs. They will love reading these when they are older. Fun! That Lucy is the smiliest!
