Tonight for FHE we made our usual list of goals. Hopefully we'll stick with them throughout the year! Here's a few from each of us; maybe if I post them I'll be extra careful to keep them?
Eleanor:
-learn to say prayers on her own
-learn to ride balance bike
-read 1 book a day (more of a goal for mom who never has the patience to read princess books)
-be a good helper for mom
-take ballet class
-ride "let it go"push car more (she insisted that this was her biggest goal)
-get potty trained & say goodbye to the binkie
Jude:
-learn to read small words
-join a team sport
-learn to ride a pedal bike
-learn basics of piano/music
-mark job chart every week & pay tithing
-work on listening to mom & dad
Dad:
-go home teaching every month
-read scriptures every day (not on BART)
-wake up 6:30am
-speak at tech conference
-squat 300lbs
-build something out of wood
Mom:
-read Book of Mormon every day
-wake up 6:30am
-read 10 books
-run another half marathon
-get dressed every day (no, I don't have problems with nudity; I have problems with sweat pants)
-invite friends to get together/double date
-spend more time researching before buying things for the home (made too many impulse decisions last year that didn't work out)
-join local orchestra to play the oboe
Family:
-FHE every week
-family scripture study every night
-paint the rest of the house (downstairs, master)
-clean up house every night before bedtime
-do the dishes every night
-build up emergency fund
-plan family service project
-invite friends over more!
-buy bigger car

Wow! Great goals for everyone and for family. Knowing you and Peter, you will accomplish them all. You are great parents and are training your sweet children to be the best they can be. Love you!
