I have to show off this beautiful blanket from my neighbor! (Pins and Petals)
Sadly, Lucy succumbed to the sickness monster that raged through our house for weeks. She woke up crying one night with the saddest, yet somehow cutest, little hoarse voice. We've got the humidifier working on overdrive. Poor Lucy.
Oddly enough for a third child, Lucy seems to get held a lot more than my other kids. Probably because I frequently use "I need to hold the baby right now" as an excuse for why I can't play princesses for the 100th time. In the evenings, Peter and I have pretty much given up on any pretense of trying to get things done when we're so exhausted from the day, so we just take turns passing her back and forth while watching netflix.
Lucy is still a very even-tempered little girl. She's usually content to just sit there in her swing or lay on the ground. I try to encourage Jude and Ellie to go play with her or show her toys, but Jude usually insists he's "too busy" and Ellie gets too easily distracted by everything else. Just wait, siblings, until she starts to move, then you'll be forced to acknowledge her as she chews your trains.

Love this! Lucy is a special one. I can't wait to meet her. You are such a great writer. I love reading your posts. And your photos are the best. Great smiles! You are blessed!
