Fall Art
We've been doing a lot of fall art projects, paint, glitter, and all.
collecting leaves to paint
Fall at the farmI really, really wanted to go apple picking this September, especially after seeing all my East Coast friends on instagram. Sadly, apples had apparently a bad year here in California and by September I couldn't find a place still open for picking. Instead, we opted to go to a farm in Fremont and pretend like we lived in a place with real seasons (and water).
Pumpkin Patch
Of course, we gotta go to the pumpkin patch. It's required to have pictures of babies in pumpkins, right? After much google searching, I found this place out in Clayton that looked perfect for toddlers, and it turned out awesome. Except the taking pictures part; my children were extremely uncooperative for Dad's photo shoot plans.

beautiful view
Jude really liked putting his head in all the cutouts
there were a lot of fun hay tunnels for the kids to run through.
Jude could have done this all day
giant pool of beans
making a bean angel
lots of jumping
genius yet super simple activity: ball tunnel
waiting to see what comes out
duck racing!
weird bouncy horse things
and then time to pick a pumpkin!
Jude didn't like being teased by Dad who told him to pick up the giant pumpkin
Ellie wasn't into the whole picture thing
